Why...
... does the sun have to be so bright and the world so full of noise & people, and dogs that need walking?
If this is global warming, I want it stopped. Now.

(6.11.05 12:31) Good point! |
|
(6.11.05 16:11) It may be a global hangover but who am I to say? |
|
(6.11.05 21:29) MJ: thank you. I am a schooner under full sail on the rising waters of this warming globe. Without crew, direction or provisions adequate to the voyage. However, by 11am I was out of bed and walking.... ;-) HJB: you are a woman of insight and deep understanding. But it doesn't stop the rending sound of hope coming away from the mizzen or whatever.... |

(7.11.05 10:17) Sounds rather more pleasant than the London full of gusty wind and driving rain that was our yesterday. Although wandering into town to see 'Serenity' (a good rollicking romp of a film) followed by a mooch to the Japan Centre for strange salad dressings to take home, and bowls of comforting noodles and sushi to take the edge off the weather, then a wander through St James's Park in the early dark and damp and a bumpy bus-ride home made it feel autumnally comforting, somehow. Well, all that and a 7 foot woolly scarf. |

(7.11.05 10:24) You know Pog, you may have missed a great career in tourism sales. That little snippet of thought really made me want to wander in a London park, so well wrapped up that I can just about see over the top of my collars.... :-) |

(7.11.05 10:30) It's bright and sunny today - all very confusing, this autumn weather. I'm sure you and your hound-dawg would've enjoyed the park yesterday, though. |
